Given the recent success of Jagged Edge Productions with their independent slasher film Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey (2023),
I was delighted to work as the score artist on another project by producer Scott Jeffrey.
Snake Hotel (2023) is a feature-length psychosexual horror comedy directed by Charles Solly of Sollywood Production House.
Charles had produced original MIDI materials as score concepts for the film, which I adapted to match the production style of his intentions.
Using virtual soundtrack instruments from the Arturia catalogue and studio production techniques, I recreated temp tracks varying in influence from Harry Potter to
Billie Eilish.
It was a pleasure to work with Charles on creating a score as synthy, scary, and sexy as the plot. We collaborated on presenting a final cue sheet for international
distributor ITN and their performing rights organisations.
